About Giovanna
For me, jewelry is a passion, it always has been. I love the color, the shimmer, the textures and the shapes. It brings me such joy to wear it, to make it, to give it, or even just to look at it. I am inspired by everything I experience, from music and art to people and places. I am an avid world traveler, so my pieces are often a reflection of the places I've been, the things that I've seen, or oddities that I've collected. I live half the year in Southern Florida and half the year in Western Colorado. My style is a combination of those two influences and my designs reflect my love of both.
The stones that I use are intentional, in terms of color psychology, aesthetics, energetics and the healing qualities of the stone. I try to create things that speak to people, on a personal level; things that tell your own story and speak to your heart.
If there is something you'd like custom-made for you, with specific stones or colors or metals, I am happy to do that as well. Drop me an email at giovannadesigns2@gmail.com
About the Surf Collection
The ocean has always been a part of my life, as far back as I can remember. I feel deeply connected to it. It is at once calming and serene, or exhilarating and wild, depending how you engage with it. The mystery, the romance, the beauty and raw power; it evokes so many emotions in all of us. For me, it represents freedom, whether on my board or walking along the shore, daydreaming.
I also feel deeply connected to my femininity and anything that sparkles and reflects light. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always worn jewelry because it makes me feel beautiful. My taste now, versus when I was 5, is simply more refined and elegant, but not less shiny.
My jewelry fuses a love of the ocean with the celebration of beauty. The stones I use are micro-faceted and gem-quality with deep color and playful shimmer. It is for the empowered woman who knows her worth and isn’t afraid to shine. I wish to give that beauty, that shine, that feeling, to each woman who wears it. It is a reminder to celebrate yourself every day, no matter where you are, or what you’re doing. There is no special occasion. You are the special occasion.
